Melinda Peffer is a communications strategist and public relations advisor with 25 years of experience helping leaders across architecture, design, the arts, and nonprofit organizations move from knowing their value to being known in the marketplace. As principal and founder of KnownSpace, she brings strategic insight, creativity, and hands-on execution to every client engagement.

Her work spans brand positioning and messaging, media relations, spokesperson training, and content creation for marketing materials, new business proposals, social media, and websites. She has led award-winning campaigns for corporate, institutional, nonprofit, cultural, and private clients across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Known for her thoughtful approach, steady counsel, and deep industry fluency, Melinda’s work has been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and other professional organizations for excellence in marketing communications.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus on public relations and journalism from the University of Dayton and has completed graduate-level coursework in business administration and management at Yale University.
